Slow & Steady …

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

The packages page is slowly coming together, it will allow users to easily view and download additional tools and utilities for a real custom toolkit. Further, once signed up developers can build and contribute their own tools and utilities for the rest of the community.

It’s been a long time coming but the first release candidate of the securix base is only a few weeks away. Hopefully we can have an initial release before RUXCON on the 30 Sep 06 (www.ruxcon.org.au) but no promises just yet.

Finally some progress …

Automatic icon building to support the icon manager (idesk), automatic menu building and path creation added to the ISO, finalising boot menu status messaging prior to release. Documentation page has been updated with some initial information towards understanding and developing of Securix packages.

Additional screenshots added showing the results of auto menu creation and working modules. Tools page has been updated with some packages that have been developed during testing.
