The first release of Knoppix-NSM is available. It is intended as a Network Security Monitoring (NSM) distribution to help with securing your network. It includes the most popular IDS, snort, and analyst consoles Sguil and BASE. Knoppix-NSM will run live from the CD so you can test things out and learn about NSM, but its greatest utility is when it is put to work by providing situational awareness in your network. Comes with the 2.6.13 kernel with full support for UNIONFS.
