Securix Project Page

The Securix project has shifted its primary development focus to become the foundation for Securix-NSM. The idea is to take the proof of concept Knoppix-NSM and improve its extensibility with the design goals of Securix. By having a stable and easily customisable base to work from, will ensure network security enthusiasts and the like can produce the exaxt toolkit of their choice.

Securix still remains a modular framework designed to provide a customisable toolkit for, but not limited to, incident response, forensic recovery, and vulnerability assesment for security and local/remote exploitation testing. It is designed primarily as a live CD and is not currently intended for desktop installation.

Securix by default will not automatically mount swap partitions or attached devices, making it forensically sound. It is based on KNOPPIX Technology, customised for low resource usage and extensible capability.
